THE STORY OF krista davenport

I live every day of my life through love. Colorful and unafraid to dive deep. With many sides, talents, and faces. My work has a wide range of skill from dark and edgy to bright and bubbly.

I received my BFA in Photography at the University of Houston where I specialized in candid photography and storytelling. My senior project was the expression and psychology of grief/mental illness. I started my company Kris D. Photography LLC shortly after graduation and it has led me on a whirlwind of world travels and wonderful clients around the Houston area. I recently became a disaster relief photographer for the American Red Cross as well as contributing my experience and skills to mission-driven organizations across the states. In 2018 I became the sole creator of an annual art show called Lights Out Houston.
